An unfamilar girl looked back at Tim from the mirror. She wasn't exactly beautiful, though perhaps she could
have been with a little more care to her appearance. Like Tim, the girl in the mirror was tall and skinny, and
she had almost no curves. Her breasts were small, her hips were narrow, and her whole body looked lanky and
almost boyish. Her face was pleasant enough, but she wasn't wearing any makeup, and her face was a little
splotchy. She wore glasses like Tim, but at least they were relatively stylish glasses. Her hair was pulled
into a frizzy ponytail. Tim reached up and felt a similar ponytail hanging from his own head... and watched in
amazement as the girl in the mirror lifted her arm as well. "Oh my God..." he whispered, and the girl mouthed
the same words.
Tim understood who this girl was... this was a female version of himself. The girl he would have been if he
had been born as a girl. And clearly, just like Tim, she was all nerd. And despite her faults, she was
actually a little cute, in a geek girl sense... she never could have been a fashion model or a prom queen, but
she certainly would have been the center of attention at Comic-Con.
Tim swung the door open and stormed back to the kitchen. Picking up the phone, he said, "Paul? Are youi still
there?"
"Tammy?" Paul asked, worry in his voice. "What's wrong."
"You turned me into a freaking girl, Paul!" Tim shouted.
There was a moment of silence. Then, "Tammy... you've always been a girl."
Tim's brain snapped at that point. "Paul," he asked, "who do you think I am?"
"You're Tamara Stevens," Paul said. "You're my..."
