"Wait," Tim said, "Tammy what?"
"Gah, Tammy Sherman," Paul said. "I'm sorry, Tammy."
Tim rolled his eyes. "You always do that, Paul." Apparently some things didn't change, even when your gender
did. "Look... Paul... I don't know what you remember, what you think you know, but... I'm not Tammy. I'm not a
girl. I'm your best friend, yeah, but I'm not Tammy. I'm a boy... a boy named Tim."
"Wait, what?" Paul said. "Tammy, what are you talking about? I've known you practically forever, and you've
always been a girl, trust me..."
Tim heaved a sigh and sat down at the kitchen table. This was going to be difficult. He supposed it could be
worse... he could be Paul's girlfriend. Tammy was just Paul's type, so it wasn't out of the question. But he
was no girl, and the one person in the world who should have known that apparently didn't. Tim had no doubt
that the rest of the world would see him and remember him as a girl as well, and Tim had no interest in going
out into the world as a girl named Tammy.
"Look, Paul," Tim said, "I don't know what went wrong with your spell, but it turned me into a girl. It turned
me back into myself, yeah, but myself as a girl. I mean, yeah, this is better than being Lady, but--"
"Lady? Who's Lady?" Paul said.
"Your dog," Tim said.
"My dog... you mean Tramp?"
Tim blinked. Tramp? Lady was a Tramp now? That shed some light on what had happened.
"Tramp... whatever," Tim said. "Point is, somehow your spell turned me into a girl, and I'm not supposed to be
a girl. I was a born a boy, I've always been a boy, and the only reason you think I'm a girl and I'm dressed
like one is because of your stupid spell. You need to figure out how to change me back, because this is not
cool. Got it?"
