"Hey!" Veronica said, startling both me and all of the girls. They only paid attention to her for a moment,
before starting to growl and obey my orders, but it had been enough to get my attention, that's for sure! "All
of you, hold up!" I said, causing the five werewolf girls to comply, albeit with a large amount of confusion.
Veronica stalked up to me as she grabbed a black silk robe off the corner of the stage to cover herself up.
"You need to tell me what the fuck's going on here," she said.
"Girls," I said to the rest, "Why don't you all get dressed and go home?" They nodded and found their street
clothes, getting dressed as they stared at me and Veronica with a mix of confusion and disappointment. "If any
of you have non-werewolf roommates, I want you to turn them into werewolves when you get home." The girls all
nodded, and it was easy to spot which ones had roommates, as their nipples immediately hardened and they
licked their lips.
I waited until the girls all left, then stared at Veronica. "Have a seat," I said, gesturing to a chair
opposite mine.
She complied, watching me warily. "I wasn't a werewolf before you got here," she said. "Nobody was."
I couldn't help but be shocked that she knew that. I didn't think anyone would. Noone else had called me on
the wishes I'd made. Nobody else had even noticed anything amiss. But she not only noticed, she'd figured out
who was responsible. Well, there was no reason to lie, I reasoned. And wishing would only be a temporary fix.
Sure, I could wish her out of existence, but that seemed almost cruel. "You're right," I replied with a smile.
"You caught me."
She seemed almost relieved at this. Her body language relaxed a bit, though she was clearly still on edge.
"So you could undo it?" she asked.
"I could," I replied. "Though I'm very curious how you noticed it was me behind it all. Nobody else has yet."
She smiled, seeming flattered. "I practice," she said, turning around and pulling up her hair, revealing a
pentacle tattooed on the back of her neck. "I saw the energy wave when you did your spell. I've never felt
such power.." She stared at me with curiosity and a bit of confusion.
I smiled back. There was no reason to let her know about the ring. I mean no..she couldn't take it off of my
finger, but SHE didn't know that. No need to have a magic-wielding werewolf get power hungry and kill me.
"I'm probably the most powerful man in the world, Veronica," I said, arguably understating the ability the
ring gave me. Let's face it, I was the most powerful man in the UNIVERSE.
She nodded. "I know. It's intimidating..it's awe-inspiring..it's..it's arousing..kinda," she said, looking
embarrassed, but at ease now.
"So, is there something you want me to do?" I asked, genuinely curious. I almost felt like I owed her a favor
or two as a reward for figuring things out so quickly and correctly. Veronica nodded.
"Well.." she said with a bit of hesitation....
