"Well, I always wanted to be a werewolf," you reply.
"Ahh, yes, that one is in here," replies Jamie as he flips through the pages until he finds the right one. "Here we go."
You can't help but chuckle. There is no way this can be real, but you decide to play along. Jamie looks up from the book and turns to you, arm stretching out towards you as he starts to recite the spell. You notice his eyes start to glow, almost as if a fire were burning behind them.
"By aut lunam aut voluntas possit ipsum transmutare ad hominis lupus." he says, almost chanting.
Almost immediately, the spell takes effect, as you feel your entire body start to tremble. Your body is covered with sweat as you feel your body temperature rise. You pull off your shirt to reveal your previously hairy chest and shoulders are now covered by small brown hairs that seem to be getting longer by the second.
"Oh my god..." you say, not sure if you're excited or scared. You glance at your hand and notice the same brown hairs, growing out into what is going to become a thick fur. Your fingernails are growing out into long, sharp claws. Your muscles are also swelling and shifting.
You feel a dull pain in your mouth and turn to the mirror hanging on the wall in time to see your teeth growing out into large, sharp fangs. The same brown fur has grown out around your face and down your neck. Your eye color has shifted to a dazzling amber color. Any fear you had at the start has been replaced with excitement.
"This is so cool," you say, your voice sounding deeper.
Jamie snaps out of his trance and takes in the sight of you in mid-transformation. "Holy crap dude, you look incredible."
"This feels incredible!" you reply as the transformations continue.
You feel a tightness in your shoes as your feet grow and shift. You reach down and quickly pull your shoes off as your feet come to resemble wolf paws, each ending with long, sharp claws. You have only a moment to take it in before you feel the final changes come over you as your face pushes out into a lupine snout and your pointy ears shift to the top of your head.
As you feel the transformation stop, you look at yourself in the mirror again, greeted with the image of a fierce creature. You slowly open your mouth, checking out your sharp fangs and let out a low growl. You take in your claw tipped hands, now covered in deep brown fur, your palms looking like paw pads. This is the most amazing thing that has ever happened to you. Your heart is racing in excitement. You throw your head back and let out a joyful howl.
"You look beautiful man," said Jamie. You turn to him panting slightly and he can tell deep down you're grinning from ear to ear.
