My Girlfriend is an Animal: The man most decidedly not from the CIA

added by Bob nobody 12 years ago O

How did he end up on the school steps bleeding to death with a shot gun wounds in his stomach? Oh yeah. He got stupid and tried to act like a cowboy cop shown on TV. 'I've really got to realize I'm not the hero of this movie.' The man thought.

He hadn't ever intended to come back to this town, his job was done. But the news of the little girl who had been turned into a tiger-person due to an emergency blood transfusion present too valuable information to pass up. The chance to observe a person who'd -grow up- with such instincts rather than having them dropped onto an adult mind was going to provide just too much juicy data to ignore.

True, just watching a furry child with a tail try to live a relative normal life made him feel like a stalker, but it was his job right now. And could likely be his job for a decade. The project itself for genetic enhancement for soldiers was five or ten years away from leaving the lab phase (opposed to twenty or forty before the lion woman, now lion man's research came along), and the more information they had on how much nurture and natured effected the psyche before then the better.

When heard the explosion, he stupidly went looking for trouble. He man in full body armor drive off, and of course went after him. He wasted a couple minutes assembling the pieces of his plastic gun from his trunk. He made a point never to carry it with him when he didn't need to. People responded to reason better when they didn't perceive a threat.

He wished he could have called for help, somethings being red-ops undercover sucked. Some might call him heartless for leaving the police station after seeing that explosion, but the killer was the more active threat and was clearly not done for the day.

The killer, dressed like a tank and armed like a small army, marched towards the school like he was storming a castle. The man took a shot at him, turned out he was wearing protection for head shots . . . Of course the man's gun had a silencer on it, but those didn't really work the way they did in the movies, they only really dispersed the sound, not make the bang from the weapon a little pop-gun noise.

The man remembered he was much better with people than situations, it sank in when the killer shot him in the stomach with a shot gun. Thankfully the killer clearly knew little about firearms, or the man would be dead already. Not that it mattered realistically. He was going to bleed to death soon. He wasn't worried that badly, his finger prints and foots prints were burned off years ago. He threw his government ID down a nearby storm drain, hearing a satisfying splash, the plastic gun followed suit. If he was lucky, he'd just die a John Doe.
