Cally, feeling a little bad about what she'd done, decided that she probably owed Lydia an explanation.
Besides what was the harm since she had the ring in case things went badly. Holding up her right hand Cally
explained "See this ring? I... came across it recently." Cally had decided that she wasn't ready to explain
everything. It wouldn't hurt to have a few aces in her purse as it were. "It lets me control reality. I say
any three words while pointing at something and voila, they come true." Lydia was skeptical. It seemed
impossible that something so small could be the cause of all her troubles. "Prove it." Deciding that Lydia had
suffered enough for the moment, Cally pointed the ring at her self and said "grow two inches." Lydia watched
keenly as Cally seemed to stretch a bit, stopping at exactly 6' tall.
Lydia stared in amazement for a moment, then abruptly her stare turned accusing. "Okay, so it is the ring.
And what exactly gives you the right to just walk in here and do as you please?" This made Cally feel a
defensive, and she retorted "Its not like I would have made you stay this way. I would have even made you
forget the whole thing." "Oh and thats supposed to make things better? And in case you haven't noticed I'm
still part dog!" Cally moved to raise the ring, but Lydia saw it and shouted "No! I don't want you using that
thing on me again." Cally fumed in frustration. "Well then what do you want?" Lydia paused for second, then
said "I think its my turn to use the ring on you. You changed me now I get to change you as I see fit."
Cally pondered this, not really wanting to surrender the ring to Lydia, who was so obviously pissed off at
her. Whatever Lydia had planned was sure to be unpleasant. She seriously considered just wiping the girls
memory an leaving, but she had to admit she had gone a little far considering she had no real grudge against
Lydia. So resignedly, and figuring that the other artifacts would protect her if things went south, she
slipped the ring off her finger and handed it to Lydia.
Lydia took the ring with a smile, saying "Ok, now let me see..."
