The hastily drawn teacher motioned to the class to cease the idle conversations they were having, and began to speak. "Welcome to Good Words That You Can Say to People! You can call me Esteen. Today we're going to learn some great words to speak at a personbody man. If they say something back, then congratulations! You're on the road that's better than most other roads." She then started writing nonsensical phrases with chalk like it was the diary of a mad blackboard woman. Most of the students diligently copied the "notes" into their notebook with haste, but Fredrika and Emma, the newest pupils, just sat there with no clue what was going on. Esteen eyed them with concern and came over to talk with them. "Why are you sitting there like giant dead man at the end of enemy base? I want to see you writing like the brothers!"
Emma told her problem to Esteen. "We don't have an honest clue what you are saying. To us, it is just nonsense. Do you think you can explain things a little better for us?"
"I think I know a solution: special learn faster goggles! I keep them in my desk for very special occasions, if-you-know-what-I-MEAN! Helping new girls learn faster is what I mean, what did you think, crazy people?"
The teacher walked to her desk and produced two pairs of goggles. She tossed the goggles perfectly into the new students' hands and clapped twice in approval of her own good throw. The goggles looked just like a figure 8 turned sideways and didn't have a strap to attach it to your head. Emma thought about saying something about it, but looked down at her own self and decided it was comparatively not that strange. Over to her right, Fredrika was already wearing the goggles and jittering like she was on a sugar high. She leaned over to Emma and excitedly yelped, "Technodream has a downside!" Esteen chimed in, "It wears off after a second! Then you'll understand the lesson! It's easy as one two pie!" Emma finally put the goggles on her face. They fit rather snugly, despite their lack of a head strap. The effects worked instantly, and Emma could see all the colors of the rainbow racing towards her in slow motion, then fast motion, then slow and fast at the same time, then it stopped completely and faded away.
Emma saw she was now laying on the floor covered in a pinkish goop. She quickly identified the substance as green sauce that has been exposed to Welterware. A faint voice in the back of her head screamed that her assumption was utterly nonsensical, but she knew her green sauce when she saw it. Esteen made another comment with "You were out a while! Don't worry, they'll have the concert hall rebuilt soon enough." She got to her feet and shook off all the sauce, leaving no trace, and got to her seat. Page after page of Emma's textbook filled up with strange phrases and selected quotes from movies and television, but she couldn't help thinking she was making things up and that she had no idea what she was doing. After a couple or three hours, the bell rang and class had ended. Fredrika and Emma both took off their learning goggles, and felt a great funk being lifted off their mind. Fredrika sighed and said, "Let's head to a different class, okay, Emma? Okay, we're going."
"With all due respect, sir, I don't feel like going to any class right now."
"Don't call me sir, Marcie. I mean, Emma! What are we talking about?" Fredrika giggled at their mistake. Emma, however, just wanted to escape before her head started to get affected like her body was. Even so, she followed Fredrika as they went...
