Emma looked exasperated, or would have if her face could make any expressions, and said, "I think that it would be a beneficial idea to go back to our room soon or else mary soon!" Fredrika laughed a little bit. "Mary Soon, that's great. But anyways, save the drama for Obama, and let's move!" She grabbed Emma's where-a-hand-is-supposed-to-be and once again flew her like a kite down the halls at the speed of Damn Kicky Fast. As an aside, Fredrika noted, "I feel like I've done this before! Do you think this makes me a running gag?" The entire hall fell silent with the sound of nobody laughing at a dumb joke; this sound means all is right with the world, or at least this particular hall.
Their private room was a lot like the rest of the school, sloppy and colored outside the lines. Fredrika had grown fond of the style, even though it could just be her natural adaptability. As expected, Emma still had doubts about the situation. "Hey, Fredrika, are we in a real cartoon, or just look like them?"
"What difference does it make?"
"Well, what if we're in something like Saul of the Mole Men that gets just 20 episodes? What happens after that?"
"That's not a problem, Emma. If anything, we're Aqua Teen Hunger Force and keep getting renewed until we overstay our welcome and lose the original spark we had in the first season! Now shut up talking to me, it's TV time."
They sat down and flicked the switch so they could plug in and turn on. Playing on the very first channel was an episode of Pokemon. The regular crew weren't present, instead there was a Pikachu and a Charmeleon in a T-shirt and sneakers walking in the woods. Fredrika wondered how the creature found clothing in his size. The Pikachu's internal monologue revealed he was similarly puzzled. "I know this one!" exclaimed Emma. "This is the one where Impostor Professor Oak turns dudes into Pokemon and tries to experiment on them."
"That episode never happened! Are you sure you didn't see a Robot Chicken sketch instead?"
"I'm not so sure." said Emma, head hung low with confusion. She changed the channel as the two Pokemon started battling each other.
The next show was some sort of haunted house show. A werewolf and short cute scarecrow were discussing their respective powers in some sort of cubicle changing room. Emma noticed a certain resemblance to the rooms they themselves changed in. And on top of that, the creatures almost resembled themselves, and even talked with their voices. But it couldn't be them, because they were right there! Emma hastily changed the channel before it started showing them watching TV on the TV. That would be bad somehow. The third channel was a strange video of a fat man playing Nintendo in his underwear. Just... that. Fredrika said to her friend, "OK, TV here sucks, let's go to another exciting and totally sensible class."
