Jennifer couldn't have been much more pleased at the way things were turning out. New memories began to mingle with the old ones as she watched her parents transform, as she watched fur spread out along their skin, as she watched their faces stretch and reform just like hers had.
She remembered playing fetch with the family, she remembered the days when she and mom would go to the PetSmart to pick out treats, to pick out fresh new collars. She remembered Sundays when they'd all go to the dog park to meet and greet with all the other dog people...
Somehow, Kyle's untimely death had altered things much more than he had intended. As the caster of the spell that changed her, his death disrupted the fabric of reality and the curse laid upon her spread to the world at large. A curse had become a blessing of sorts.
"Hmmmm, honey..." her dad growled with a chuckle in his voice as he looked over at her mom.
"Yeah?" mom asked, turning around and leaning up against the sink. The way mom was leaned backwards, the lustful glint in dad's eyes, Jennifer knew what was coming.
"You thinkin' what I'm thinkin'?" yes, that clinched it. That was the code, more or less.
"Mmmm, yeah," Mom, licked her lips, and glanced over to her daughters. "Say, girls, why don't you two head out for a few hours?"
"Ugh, breeders," Brenda groaned. "How undignified. I had best practice for Westminster anyway."
"Oooh! And I promised Dan I'd meet up with him at the park!" Jennifer's tail wagged rapidly.
"Good, good," dad nodded his head as he began to remove his shirt. "You go and have fun now."
"Auuuuugh, I do not want to have to live with TWO litters of puppies, you all be careful!" Brenda groaned again. Jennifer couldn't help but think she was a selfish little whiny bitch.
"Go on! Get out! Get!" mom barked, removing her own blouse and tossing it aside.
Jennifer and Brenda were all too pleased to go their separate ways, for their own reasons.
