'Well it has certainly been an interesting couple of weeks for me' Patten thought to himself as he gave his house a quick tidy-up. 'Just a few weeks back, I was verbally doing George in. Now I'm helping him.' He couldn't hold back a slight chuckle at this. He referred to his verbal assault on George back at that meeting, when he tore into him for his behaviour, and went back to bite him in his arse at the disasterous first debate between Tabby and Hireman. "Karma's a real Bitch, huh?" He spoke to himself. The result had forced him to look into George again, and realise that he had missed out on quite a bit of information. That for him, had been a real wake up call. There were no two ways about it, he hadn't been thorough enough with his research, and it had cost him. And Tabby Choir too.
Still, the worst had since been fixed, and it looked like Tabby might be able to pull a win. Right now, she and Hireman were level pegging in the polls, and the third debate was coming up soon. Right now he was hoping that the coaching lessons he had provided alongside unofficially managing her campaign would see her through to the win. Even so, both he and Tabitha were under no illusions. With the third debate focusing on subjects unrelated to Molly, he would have the advantage, it would be anything but easy for her. And the moderator for this particular debate, was, thankfully, extremely indifferent to anything Animatrix related, that should assist in keeping it on topic. So long as no mistakes were made, Tabitha should be able to hold up in it, a fact he had already alerted her to.
As for Clemens, well, he had made it back safely enough, and was back at work. He still had some issues to tackle, but was making his way through them. With luck, they could Facebook chat every week or so.
His other concern were his followers. True he had very few friends, but he did have plenty of followers. And most of them didn't always listen to what he said properly, if the incident at the high school was anything to go by. Something he'd need to look into to be certain. Perhaps if he'd been more accurate in his initial assessment of George Wayne in the first place......well, that was in the past, not changable. What mattered to him was what he did now. So long as he didn't make that mistake again, things should work out for the best.
Back to George. They hadn't set a time for when he'd start helping him with his temperament, but that was mainly due to the fact that the times would be determined by events. Hopefully the worst would already be over by now.
The main question concerning George right now was if he should let him know about how he gathered his information. Some of it may not be 'right', but it was all legal, above board. And he might have to fix his 'rage room' soon, he'd REALLY trashed it after the first debate. Perhaps a weekend's worth of work needed there, and it'd be fit for use again. Come to think of it, would it be enough to help George at times? He'd have to ask one of these days.
Still, no rest for the weary. He had some work to do to help Mrs Choir for the third and final debate. It would be her hardest one.
