The die was destined to belong to one young man, Rob Miller, at the time just a fairly normal college
sophomore at NYU. The simple cardboard box containing the die was resting in front of his door when he arrived
home from classes, enjoying the early autumn coolness. It caught his eye just as he opened the door and he
paused, looking at it for a moment quietly before reaching down and lifting it, flipping it over to check the
address. Sure enough, it was addressed to Robert M. Miller. He shrugged, and dropped it into his messenger
bag, unlocking the door and slipping in, dead bolting it behind him. "Hey guys!" He shouted, "It's Rob! I'm

piece of paper, unfolding it on his desk and reading it aloud.

Rob paused for a few seconds and then laughed, "Really? The Wizard?" He continued laughing and dug out the
smoothly polished stone die, turning it in his hand as he continued to quietly chuckle. "I wounder if this is

He tossed it onto his desk and it bounced and clattered for a few moments before coming to rest, the top side
