Jeff stared in bewildered horror at the sight of the two pink and tiny fetuses lying on the floor in front of him. They'd surely both die if he left them like this for long, so with trembling fingers Jeff carefully plucked first his mother and then Emily off the tile floor and into the palm of his hand. With the greatest care, he carried them both into his bedroom and set them both down on the bed.
"Okay." Jeff took a deep breath. He held up the emitter, the cause of this mess, and scanned both his mother and sister. Their vitals weren't good, and the accompanying text suggested he had maybe a few minutes before both of them would stop living, just like he had feared. Quickly, Jeff entered both of their ages into the emitter and pressed enter. For now, they'd both be little girls, and Jeff could sort it all out after and fix things.
Both the helpless embryos started to grow back once more, developing through gestation in rapid succession. To Jeff's relief both the baby girls returned to more recognizable shapes before his very eyes. When they hit "birth" or age zero the changes began to slow. Their umbilical cords shrank away once more. He had saved both of their lives.
Again, a sigh of relief, as both his mother and sister grew onward past toddlerhood and into 4 year olds. Both of them, apparently unaware of what had just happened, were sleeping soundly on the bed.
