The first building they noticed was the ACME.co building on the other side of the street with a sign on a wall saying "Test subjects wanted.Come on in!"
Curious as to why it was phrased like that, they entered the building and went to the information desk.
The woman at the booth was most helpful, telling them that ACME needed a lot of volunteers to try out a variety of wacky inventions and have fun while workers recorded what the future products did.
"But isn't it dangerous?" Carrie asked,
remembering the sight of the flattened woman.
"Not at all," the woman told her. "In ToonWorld, nothing is permanent. Not matter what shape or situation you get yourself into, we can get you back to normal at any time."
"How?" John asked.
"A worker will either return you to normal, or let you move again if you've been immobile for at least one hour."
"If you would like to volunteer for testing, just go through that door over there and find any item that you want to try out. Trying out items can be quite enjoyable. Test subjects enjoy it so much that it technically doubles as a "fun zone". Please enjoy your time here at ACME industries!"
With that, John and Carrie went through the door and found themselves in a room so large they couldn't see the ceiling or the far ends of the building. What they could see, was people and toons of literally every shape, size, and color imaginable trying out items, and having fun at the same time.
"Well Carrie."Said John,"It's time to start testing!"
