We're a two headed body right?" Luke asked. He wanted to get straight to the point, and he knew Max wouldn't try to play any games.
"Yes." Max responded and he started to get dressed.
"We were born like this?"
"Yes." Max repeated.
"How?" Mark finally jumped in.
Max gave the pair a funny look, "What do you mean? You guys were there for sex-ed in school."
"No, I mean. How was this even possible?" Mark sat himself on the bed with Luke. "How do we have two heads?"
"How should I know?" Max slipped on a shirt and came over and sat with Mark and Luke. "Are you guys ok? What's going on? You've never asked this kind of thing before."
"Max," Luke sounded a little irritated, "You and Mark are twins right?"
"Yes." Max sighed, "How many times do I have to say it."
"Identical twins, right?"
"Right..."
"But I'm not related to you. Either of you." Luke rubbed his forehead. "Then how could, me and Mark be born like this? It doesn't make sense."
"I... I don't know." Max closed his eyes tightly.
"Exactly! Max, you and me must have split apart before we were born to be identical." Mark said, "And Luke has different parents, and a different birthday than us."
"I... you guys... and," Max put both hand on his head. He stood up and started walking around the room. "You and Luke... always been..." Max dropped to his knees and screamed in pain. He fell backwards and laid on the floor. The room was spinning and he felt like he had thrown up. When he looked up, he could see Mark and Luke really close to each other and kneeling beside him.
"Max, are you ok?" Mark asked with concern.
"Ya. I'm ok. What happened?" Max sat up and rubbed his eyes. He took another look at Mark and Luke and saw they weren't kneeling really close together. Instead their heads were on the same body! "AH!" Max fell back on the floor, and pushed himself away from the conjoined pair. He had a shaking finger pointed at both of them, "Wha... What the hell?! What the hell happened?!"
"Max calm down!" Mark dragged Luke closer to where Max lay. He put his hand on Max's shoulder. "Please... I need your help. We both do." Max took a few deep breaths and nodded. "What's the last thing you remember?"
"You uh, went over to Luke's." Max stood up and watched Luke and Mark stand in the same body. He paused for a minute then continued. "I went to have a shower, I came out, and then... then... I was laying there looking up at you."
"So he thought this was normal too then." Luke turned to Mark. "I don't get it. It must be something to do with the suit."
"Ya, but how do we take it off." Mark sighed.
"What suit?" Max asked.
Luke and Mark glanced at each other, then Luke started to explain, "...And now everyone thinks we were born like this or something."
All three of them stood around, thinking about what to do next, and it was Max who spoke up first. "Maybe there's some clue back at your place." They all agreed and headed back to Luke's.
