Max was waiting up in Luke's room, for what felt like an hour. When they came back to Luke's, his mom wasn't too happy. They had spent way to much time at Mark's, and now they're dinner was cold, and she'd have to re-heat it. Luke was given an ear full, and all Mark could do was stand there with him and take it. After which they were forced to sit down and eat. Max was told he could wait upstairs if he wanted, and so he did. When the door finally opened, Max jumped to his feet, "Man, that took forever."
"She made us eat everything. And there was broccoli." Mark made a disgusted face, "I hate that crap."
"Which is why I ate it, and you ate the corn." Luke rolled his eyes, "If we were born like this, you think she'd know which foods each of us hates." They were walking passed the bed when Mark tried to sit down. Luke on the other hand was trying to walk to the closet, leading them to miss the bed and fall. "Dude, really?"
"I didn't think you'd keep walking!" Mark growled as he rubbed his backside. They stood up and gave each other annoyed looks. Luke lead them over to the closet. When he opened the door all the other suit were gone. All that was left was a note, which Mark read out loud. "Congratulations Luke, I see you found a suit you like... blah blah blah. Ah, here. Whenever you wear your suit, everyone else will be made into thinking you have always been that way. In case of multi-person suits, only the occupants will know the truth. You can however allow others to know the truth if you wish and the 'belief' spell on them will brake."
"Well that explains why Max doesn't think this is normal." Luke walked them over to the bed and sat.
"Some more blah blah..." Mark was still reading the note. "Ok, here it is. Warning, all suits last for a minimum of 24 hours, please ensure adequate time for use. After 24 hours, the zipper will become accessible. If you so choose to remain in the suit simply unzip a small amount, and re-zip. Warning, another 24 hours must pass before the zipper becomes accessible again." Mark fell back on the bed, only to have Luke sit them up again. "So we're stuck together for another 22 hours or something like that."
"At least we know this isn't permanent." Luke smiled, and Mark nodded.
"Ya but 24 hours," Max chimed in, "Do you think you can last that long?"
"Well, we kinda have to," Mark patted himself on his and Luke's chest, "It's not that big a deal."
"Really?" Max questioned, "Because ever since that spell or whatever broke on me, I've seen you two struggle to walk and move. You've argued about three times. Given each other dirty looks, or pushed each other, and it's only been what? Maybe 2 hours? You guys still have a whole day to go. Sure you're best friends, but being that close for so long is going to take it's toll. Not to mention how you'll deal with the bathroom."
Mark and Luke gave each other worried looks, unsure of what to do next.
