You're walking along the sidewalk, heading back home. You take your time since you know you folks are out of town, so you're in no real rush to get home. You have your backpack slung over your shoulder, which you periodically adjust due to it's being weighted down by textbooks and notebooks. You hear footsteps running up behind you and turn to see your best friend and fellow classmate Andrew. You two have known each other for most of your lives and have a close relationship.
"Hey, Nate," says Andrew.
"Oh, hey Andrew, what's up?" you reply.
"What'cha doing this weekend?" he asks.
"I have nothing planned. Was just going to hang around the house. Why?" you reply. You've come to your house and start up the sidewalk to the front door.
"Oh, no reason," replies Andrew. "Nate, can I ask you a question?"
You turn to face him.
"Sure, I guess," you reply.
"Okay, transform or dare?" he replies.
Your heart drops. You've heard the stories from other kids in the neighborhood. At some point or another it had come to all of them. They had two choices, accept the dare, or the transformation. Most picked dare since if they picked transform, the person asking could transform them into whatever they wanted. It's at this moment that you become aware of the three other kids a ways down the sidewalk, kids you knew as friends of Andrew's, watching what was about to unfold.
"Oh come on, that's not real," you reply, trying to shrug it off.
"Oh yeah, you're going to find out real soon. If you don't choose, you get both," replies Andrew.
You start thinking it over when Andrew smiles, looking at you. "I dare you to say Transform," he says.
"Why should I?" you reply.
"I wanna see it. If you do, I'll take it easy on ya, I swear. Make sure it's something cool..." he replies.
As one who has long been interested in transformation, you can't resist. A smile comes across your face. Something cool, huh...well, let's see what he's got.
"Okay, transform," you reply.
"For your transformation..."
