Tiffany clutched Jeremey Teddy Bear to her bosom, and handed Jasmine the stuffed tiger.
"Thanks," groaned Jasmine, all she needed was another stuffed animal, "I'll add it to my collection. Ever since those Aladdin movies and TV shows, every boyfriend I have gets me a stuffed tiger."
"I think it's neat! I'm going to call my Teddy Bear, hmmm," Tiffany concentrated hard on the bear, she could sense its essence, "Jeremey," she announced, though she didn't realize that it was in fact the former room's occupant Jeremey!
"Very good, you're a natural adept, Tiffany," a raven swooped up and lighted on the bed post, "You selected, ahem, Jeremey, so I am your familiar."
"Cool."
A silent wolf silently stole into the center of the room in front of Jasmine. She looked down at the animal.
"Great they give you the bird, and me a dog. I guess I should be grateful it's not a tiger. I was kind of hoping for a snake, they eat live animals, and you only have to feed the once or twice a month. I wonder if it's house broken?"
The wolf stood their with his mouth gaping open. He wanted Seth back now, but it was too late. Or was it? He looked at the raven who was obviously thrilled with its new mistress.
"Jas, it's a wolf not a dog. And it's a familiar so it can probably speak, why don't you ask it?"
Jasmine bent at her knees loved the wolf in the eyes, and said in a slow baby talk voice, "Is wolfykins house broken?"
The indignity of it all. Xerxes cleared his throat, and answered, "Yes, but as a wolf I am required to mark my and my mistresses territory," and he raised his hind leg and let go a hot yellow stream right on to Jasmine's backpack.
