Rain heard a knock on the door. Damn, of all the awkward times. . .
She perked up thinking that maybe the person knocking was another male she could turn female.
It wasn't though. It was a tall, confident-looking woman wearing a belly shirt showing off her pierced navel and extremely short jeans.
"Sean Davidson?"
"What?" said Rain, startled by the stranger's knowledge of her male name.
"I'm Diana Bertinelli, a lawyer representing Transdem Labs. Our records show a Sean Davidson received a unit yeasterday, and has violated several terms of the agreement, including non-consensual transformations and personality erasure. Mr. Davidson, your license to use the Chronivac software is hereby revoked."
"You don't look like any lawyer I've ever seen." said Rain.
"Long story. Do you want to bring me the Chronivac or do I have to take it?"
Diana looked around at the apartment, filled with hot young women who had recently been men. Fictionmania syndrome, she thought, classic case.
