"Yes," she whispered. She looked at me up and down, admiring the form she saw before her. But she was looking for something else it seemed as she walked all around me. Finally something went off in her mind. "Come here," she said. She grabbed my hand and pulled me off in the direction of her room.
She led me into her room and in front of her computer. She bent down over the keyboard and mouse and opened some kind of graphics program. "I do some light graphics stuff for my job," she said. "But I like to use this to mess around, too." Before I could ask her what that had to do with the present situation, she said, "And one day last week, just for fun, I did this." I watched as she opened a file entitled "Ideal Girlfriend & Lover." As the image displayed on the monitor, it was my turn to gasp.
It wasn't an exact image to be sure. It was very much a computer generated image. But if you looked closely and cut out the rough ends, there was something very familiar about the "model" she had created. "It's me!" I whispered. "It looks just like me!"
"That's why I looked at you so weird, other than for the obvious reason," she laughed. "It's as if you read my mind."
"But I didn't," I said. I had to think for a moment. I thought back to my original wish. I had wished to be the woman I always wanted to be. Now a light went off in my head. The woman's intuition that I thought made me think Kristy was a lesbian now made me think something else. "Kristy, I think kissing you did more than make me know I wanted sex with women."
"What do you mean?" she said.
"I read about something loosely similar to this for my psychology class," I explained. "I think my subconscious knew something I didn't. I think it knew I didn't want any woman, but you."
"Are you saying that..." she looked at me to finish the statement.
"That I love you?" I said. She nodded. "Yes." I couldn't believe I said it. But I thought about it again for a few seconds and realized it was true. "I do. I love you. So my wish of being the woman I wanted to be meant to be your ideal woman."
We looked into each other's eyes for a moment. I waited for her to make the move. And she did. She put her arms around my neck, pulled herself close, and kissed my on the lips. This kiss was even more passionate than our first kiss. Because we both knew what it meant. It meant we wanted to be with each other. Not only did our lips meet, but our tongues did too. We let ourselves become lost in the moment. I couldn't imagine there ever having been a more passionate embrace.
Our lips parted and she pulled her face away from mine, yet never letting go of my neck. I waited for her to speak again.
