“Well, I hope somebody hears it.” Cassandra said as she activated her ship’s distress beacon. She was a lean but fit woman in her mid 20’s with long red hair and tanned skin. She has short-legged overalls with a pink tee-shirt underneath “Man, those rocks came out of nowhere.” She said as she stepped out of the ship’s pilothouse, which she figured would be her shelter for the foreseeable future. “For that matter, so did this whole island. It’s not on any of my charts or maps. At least I managed to get here before the ship sank.” The island was fairly large enough. A snow-capped mountain in the distance meant there had to be a good source of fresh water. Plenty of foliage meant there was a good chance to find edible plants. “It is beautiful, though.”
Cassandra stepped off her boat onto the beach and inspected the damage to the hull. It was submerged in water all the way up to the name, “Cassandra’s Sister”. There was little chance to salvage it. “Well, so much for my little sister. Sorry I couldn’t take better care of it.”
