Your name is alex, you are a hiker and have decided to explore the large forest outside your relatively quiet suburban town. After walking for a while in the forest, you come across what looks like and abandoned laboratory but even though it looks abandoned, you can clearly hear the machines buzzing with power and you make your way down toward the odd brown brick building.
It is one story, with windows lining the the walls, all of which are too high to reach. You walk to the front door, revealing a paperclip from your pocket. You can't believe that you found something like this in the middle of a forest, so you decide to do some exploring.
The paperclip enters the lock, and you wiggle it around a bit, trying to make it fit to the notches and knobs inside the keyhole. Eventually, you hear a click and you jiggle the doorknob. The door comes open and you peer into the darkness inside. You step forward cautiously and reach for the lightswitch. Feeling along the wall, you find it and flip it to the "on" position.
The florescent lights hesitate for a second and then studder on to full brightness. You look around and see all sorts of strange machines. Suddenly, you hear a slam! You turn to see the door you'd entered through closed because of the strong winds you experienced earlier. You grab the door knob and begin to push. Nothing. You twist the lock back and forth, but it did nothing to help. You begin to use your paperclip but you can't seem to unlock it again.
Eventually, you sit down on the floor with your back against the door. "Well," you think, "Maybe I could find something to help me escape" but for now you accept that you are most likely going to be here for quite a while.
As you sit, you glance about at all of the machines in the room.
You walk around the lab and look at the numerous apparatus. They are all labeled in strange ways, you notice. "Anthro," "Macro," "T-G," "Infl." "Inanimate," "M-G," and "W-G". There also appear to be stairs leading downward, but for now, which machine appears most interesting?..
