"You promise to change us back, if I help you?" Matt asks as Einstein the golden retriever lies down on the
dry part of flat Alan.
"Tell ya what, Matty. See it's getting late, so I'm going to let you sleep on it - or rather I'm going to
sleep in you. Dan, bring head and flatness over to the old washing machine in the corner."
Dan grinned as he saw the old tub with the wringer in the corner.
Matt's jaw dropped.
"No, please. Don't flatten me!" he pleaded. His voice was soon silenced as his head followed his body through
the old style wringer.
He would go back and forth through the wringer nearly a dozen times as Rene adjust the settings to press and
stretch Matt's flattened form thinner and longer.
"There that should do," Rene said holding up the flattened scientist.
"Now what?" asked Dan.
"We go to bed," Rene said with a grin.
Dan started to open his mouth and then closed it. He didn't know exactly what Rene had in mind, but he edged
away from the wringer. Rene noticed and chuckled.
"No, not tonight, Dan. You've been a good boy."
