I had always been fond of furries and anthromorphs. And as I held The Orb in my hand, I realized that I had the key to my dreams in
my hand! The desire to make it a reality had taken over me as soon as the thought had entered my mind, and I wished for it to come
true.
Nothing happened at first. I was confused for a moment, remembering Archie's explanation on when to wish, ( for small changes like
shortening a nose or gaining muscle) and when to will ( for big changes like having a dream girlfriend or a better house/job). Figuring
that this would affect the entire world, (which turned out to be true) I concentrated and focused my will on this one thought. This time, I
felt myself changing.
It started with a tingling sensation. I jumped to my feet and ran into the bathroom to watch in the mirror. I stripped myself down to my
birthday suit and planted myself in front of the mirror. Small, fine hairs were beginning to grow all over me. As they lengthened, I felt
something else. A great pressure grew in my jaw and lower mouth. I moved closer to the mirror and watched as my face pushed out
slowly into a slight muzzle. I also noted that my ears had changed, becoming pointed and moving to the top of my head. The most
fascinating change happened next: my nails turned into claws, and the bones in my feet shifted to become digitgrade paws with pads on
them. My arms grew until they were as long as my legs, my hips changed to accomadate walking on either two legs or four legs, and I
grew a tail. Lastly, my equipment changed, becoming a mix of man and beast.
With the last of my changes, it was official: I was a furry! I ran my hands over my new body and marveled at the pwier I wielded. After a
minute, a thought popped into my head- what happened to the rest of the world? I made my way to my room, but paused when
something caught my eye: a photo of my family. I looked at it intently and saw, to my amazement, that my parents were furries! And not
just my parents, but Archie as well! I immediately ran into my room and began to Google the images of famous figures throughout
history. I made the discovery that about half of them were now members of the furry race! And before I did anything else, I made sure
to grab the Orb and wish for new memories that fit this new world. With the Orb in hand and new memories in mind, I walked out into
the world to explore.
