"Kyle?" The pain Josh was feeling was immense, but he wasn't concerned with it at the moment, "Kyle?! KYLE?!" Blood was still running down Kyle's head, but now water was starting to fill the tub. When they fell Kyle had blocked the drain. Josh was panicking, "Kyle! Wake up! KYLE!" Josh looked at his brother, and could see he was still breathing. Using all the strength he could muster, Josh pull his half of their body up and out of the tub. Josh made sure that when they crashed to the floor, it would be on his side, to avoid Kyle getting hurt any worse. Kyle still wasn't responding, and Josh held his brother's head and some tears started to form in his eyes, "Come on you fucking little ass, wake up!"
Josh could feel himself getting a bit angry at the situation they were in. He couldn't go find help because he couldn't move without Kyle. Josh looked around and saw the clothing he and Kyle had been wearing when they first fused, still laying in a wet heap near the door. Using his leg to slide themselves across the floor, Josh started digging through the pockets. He had left his phone in their other pants, and hopped Kyle had left his here. Luckily he had, but Josh wasn't sure what to do. He couldn't call an ambulance, so he tried the next best thing. "Come on, answer... Answer the phone... Pick it up!" Josh put the cell between his should and ear. He had grabbed a cloth, and was now putting pressure on Kyle's gash. "Come on.... Yes, hi! Kevin?!"
"Josh?" Kevin was surprised, "What the hell do..."
"I need your help!" Josh didn't attempt to hide the urgency in his voice.
"Why should I help you?"
"It's Kyle you asshole!"Josh's emotions were running high, and his voice started to crack, "He's hurt!" We fell... he hit his head... and now... and now..."
"I'll be right over!" Kevin could hear Josh crying, and knew something bad had happened. He hung up and raced over. He knew the back door was unlocked, and was up the stairs in an instant. He banged on the bathroom door before entering. He was a bit put off by seeing the naked brother's laying on the floor, but when he saw Kyle, he pushed the thought's to the back of his mind. "Kyle?!"
"He's... he's..."
"It's ok Josh, just keep the pressure up. Shit, what the hell do I do?" Kevin had a hand pulling on some of his hair, and he looked about the bathroom. "We need to get him to the hospital... but how..."
As if on cue, another door could be heard opening. Kevin froze and looked down at Josh. Josh's eyes darted to the open bathroom door. He knew that sound, and which room it belonged to, "DAD! Help!" The sound of walking was replaced by that of running.
Owen poked his head through the door frame, "What is it?!" All the blood drained from his face, turning him white. "Kyle? Kyle?!" Owen made his way around Kevin and bent down to his son, "What happened?! What's going on?!" Josh couldn't even get words out of his mouth now, so Kevin gave a quick run down of what he was told. "Ok... we need to get you guys apart!"
Josh briefly let go of the cloth and took the chain from Kyle's neck. He tossed it up to Kevin, much to everyone's surprise. As the other two looked down at him, he shouted back, "What are you waiting for! Put it on!" Kevin was flustered, but slipped the chain over his neck. He felt himself get pulled down right on-top of the brothers.
As Kevin's chest pressed against theirs, Kyle began getting pushed out of the joined body. Kevin was now to the right of Josh. They weren't joined for more than a second before Josh pulled them to their feet. They wobbled back and forth a bit, but used the open door for support. "Dad... drive..." Owen nodded and bend down. He draped a towel over Kyle to cover him, before picking him up off the floor.
Josh dragged Kevin out the door and down stairs with Owen in tow. The conjoined pair opened the front door for him, and waited until he had driven off before closing it again.
