Porter had hidden in the tree, something had scared Mark so it was only natural to seek refuge. Mark on the
other hand was trying to wrap his mind around the fact that his best friend was now a monkey. He knew he would
be in a lot of trouble if somehow Porter didn't return to his usual self, at least for as long to take home.
Perhaps if he shave him like his dad did with his beard, dress him again and tuck his tail, nobody will notice
until he went back home.
He tried to make the plan but for that he needed to get him down first. Mark quickly returned to the kitchen and
came back with a banana. Mark began to make noise to lure his friend.
On the tree Porter, heard Mark calling for him, so he peeked outside, revealing to Mark that now his face was
more simian with a reduce nose and larger jaw. Also his coat of hair was thicker on his arms, legs and back.
Porter saw the banana as if something triggered in his brain.
"Monkeys likes bananas!" thought the monkey boy. But as soon as he was to jump to get it, a truck passed by
Mark's house and as luck would have it it was transporting the yellow fruit. Porter guided by his primal instincts leaped from the tree into the truck, or as Mark would see it, outside.
Mark went outside looking for his friend, but the truck was long gone by. Mark was in a pickle, without Porter
to prove nobody will believe him. The best he could do was to say that Porter ran away. In a way it was the
truth.
