Maybe the best way for Jen to get back to reality would be to speak with her parents, she reasoned. Her new
trotters were concealed beneath her boots, and aside from that, she was the attractive teen girl she was used
to seeing in the mirror.
"Morning, sweetie," her mother said, kissing Jen's soft hair. Jen smiled awkwardly, sat down at the dinner
table ready for breakfast. "Did you sleep well?"
"I slept okay, but I've had a rough morning," she responded weakly. "What's for breakfast? Have you made any
sausage?"
Jen's father laughed from behind his newspaper. "Come on, Jen. Stop making jokes."
"What?" Jen responded in confusion. "It's Thursday, mom usually makes bacon before school on Thursdays."
"Not with your changes, I don't," her mother said, approaching with a bowl that she set in front of Jen. "Eat
up. You need to gain some weight."
Jen looked down at the bowl in horror. It was a bowl of green mush. Vegetables, she assumed. It looked like a
cross between baby food and dog food. "What is this stuff?"
"It's your breakfast, honey," her mom replied. "It's extremely high in calories. It's just what a growing pig
needs."
Jen was close to throwing up. "Pig? I'm not a pig, I'm a girl!"
"Yes, Jen, now you're a girl, but soon, you'll be a pig. We've been over this so many times," her dad said,
folding up the paper. "You need to gain a lot of weight. Eat up."

Jen reluctantly saw to the food, which was less than appetizing. She hadn't been supplied with cutlery, and
instead had to use her face. That was fine, though, as her hands were going a similar way to her feet - fat,
cloven, trotters. Her face felt unusual as well, a numbness overcoming her jaw, swelling up as her snout
prepared to emerge from her face.
If her parents knew she was turning into a pig, would anyone at school? As Jen entered the building, she
sincerely hoped that would not be the case.
