"Welcome one and all-vybody to be quiet and watch this video while I sleep on the deeeesk. Miss Miss Miss, be a miss and slam dunk this in the VCRrrrr," spoke the bored teacher. Her giant unkempt afro and Frida Kahlo 'stache didn't bring 'education for the masses' to mind, exactly. Miss Miss leaped to her stumps where feet should be and happily skipped over to the desk to obey the teacher's order, just as her g-moms said to her some time ago. The class all sat at the edge of their seats expecting to have a good relaxing time in front of a movie, when the title card appeared... "John Madden's YOU CAN! Major in Strategic Insights". It seemed to be almost scientifically designed to be the least interesting movie day theoretically possible. Fredrika turned to Emma and said, "We're going to take a walk, are you down?" Emma answered, "Fully down," already being carried like a windsock again.
They walked into the hall at last, staying mindful of that gangster cat they met earlier. No, she ain't here. I'm sure, really. So, they went to check out the scene and meet somebody they could friend it up with. In the lounge, a young, very cute doodle girl was hefting a calligraphy brush at least two sizes too big for her. She held it up to an old canvas and drew a masterful enso before adding a smiley face inside, revealing to the girls that she was just drawing a picture of herself. The adorable thinger cocked her head a little and said, "Yes, that is just fine. Just like a realist painting from some old secludey pants." She finally noticed there were people there. "Ey, I'm Folly. I'm a drawrer- a draw-ist, That's Who I Am. You girls want a Hot Fry?" Emma helped herself to one.
Folly shook both their hands at once, adding "you must need a third for the Two Guys plus Tag-along archetype, right? Well, I'm your man, er, 'woo' plus that what I said!" Congratulations. FOLLY has joined your party. Fredrika initiated some back-and-forth interfacing as they Walked to Informality. "You must be pretty smart to be in high school at your age. How you did at?"
"I'm 23, you old guess-agey-wrongey pants!"
"In that case, why come you got held back so much?"
"I was just too much of a Babs Bunny ripoff to graduate. Plagiarism is wrong, ladies and gentlemen... and Damon. This year, though, I'm ditching the impersonation and the 'bad-tempered but cute' thing and coming in to my own!"
"Speaking of coming, I should come back to my class before teacher wakes up from her years of inserting substances into her body-induced nap or I might get a red check mark or something."
Fredrika and Emma dashed all the way back to class just in time for the teacher to wake up, not noticing they were gone. The girls were too busy congratulating themselves on their contrived coincidence to notice Folly pulling up a seat next to them. The teach caught her in the act this time, and grilled her on her unwanted appearance. "Eh, you're not in this class, are you? You should go back to making spiders out of construction paper school." Folly put her feet up on the desk. "Don't have a baby, vieux pantalon soucis. There's only 5 minutes left of class, anyway!" Since you can't make much trouble in only 5 minutes, Teach relented. Unfortunately, Folly always goes hard, then goes home. She climbed up on the desk (leaving dirty triangular marks everywhere), looked for something to catch her interest, then decided on a pair of tentacle-looking things growing out of a hastily-drawn student's head, which she yanked continuously for the rest of class. As the teacher's egg timer rang, Folly grabbed Fredrika's hand and dragged her to the next activity, leaving Emma to catch up on foot. As for where they were going...
