Three hours later Jeff was awake and still reeling from the news Mr Sparks
has imparted to the "young miss"
The purple beasty who spoke with a English accent and had somehow acquired a bowler
hat and the Writers Manual: Good Morning Mr Sparks 2nd Seasom
had informed him she was a weredragon.
Basically when the full moon rose in 29 days Jeff would turn into a huge green scaly winged dragon
with destruction on its mind,and he,Angela and mother would fly to some hapless place and torch,bludgeon
and pushover the place on that full moon.
Alas Mr Sparks did not know what place Jeff ,Angela and mother would flatten,which would only
come as forevision flashes,dreams and hallucinations over the next 28 days.
And Mr Sparks job,as well as Jeff,Angela and mothers,was to puzzle out their intended victim,then
rush over there and do damage control before the full moon rose.
Jeff,Angela and mother didn't believe any of this of course.
However they had to admit Mr Sparks was real enough,so the possibility existed that the 3
humans were weredragons.
Mother and Angela had frantically looked for a amulet,but it was nowhere to be found,and
Mr Sparks had a good reason to feign ignorance about a "special momento from my mother"
namely his own continued existence and job opportunities.
So the search had been fruitless and the 2 glum searchers had returned to the livingroom
where the big purple dragon had been patiently waiting,twirling that bowler hat on a walking stick
and whistling " Danger Man"
When he had their undivided attention again,the dragon explained a few more facts about their new
weredragon life.
If you're a bad guy,and you know 3 big scaley flame breathing nasties will trash a specific target
under a future full moon,theres a opportunity to rob bank vaults,rob the company paychest and other
lucrative criminal opportunities whilst the citizenry and running around screaming.
All you need to do is avoid getting stomped by the weredragons and know what the future target
for the weredragons will be.
And since Jeff,Angela and mother were now starting to have flashes and glimpses of a
nondescript midwest town with a postoffice clock tower with a green mermaid statue on top,
the villains would be arriving shortly to help them figure out the target.
Mr Sparks was leaving through the Writers Handbook when he heard,with his sensitive
dragon ears,the whirl and click of spinning gears and metallic footsteps approaching the front entrance.
He looked at the clock on the wall,which said 11:30 and said
" That would be Johnny Reb 1020 coming in,could you let him in Jennifer?"
"Knock knock knock"
Jennifer got up and walked on shaky feet to the door and opened it,to find herself
staring at a mechanical clockwork man,7 feet tall,dressed in Confederate grey,with a musket in one
metallic hand.
The robot doffed his hat to the young missus weredragon ,then clanked and whirred past her as it
entered the house,the giant key sticking out of his back slowly turning.
The mechanical man,ever so polite a villain,marched up to mother and as his
