Will exited the bathroom and rounded the corner. It was then that she ran into her first bit of good luck that day. She stopped dead in her tracks and Zoe, one of the lesbians who’d got her into this mess, walked towards her.
“YOU!” She screamed lunging towards Zoe. Tackling her against the wall, she held her tight breathing heavily. Zoe hadn’t worked out what was going on. This random girl just attacked her for no reason. “Change us back!” She said slowly and deliberately. Zoe raised an eyebrow, clearly still none the wiser. “CHANGE US BACK!”
It was then that Zoe finally realized who this hysterical girl was. A smile grew on her face and then a large grin. She started to chuckle, which only made Will more angry. “The skater guy! Oh My God! That’s Hilarious.” Will could barely contain her anger and pounded her fist against the wall by Zoe’s head.
“Change us back!” she repeated again.
“I can’t!” Zoe replied now looking dead serious.
“Why the fuck not!?”
“Because I don’t have the device. Jess has it with her.” She said. Will wanted to beat the crap out of her, but her body wasn’t behaving as it should. Instead she felt the emotions that she’d been saving up bubble to the surface. Her eye’s began to well up and she released her grip on Zoe, turning to collapse with her back to the wall. Zoe wanted to laugh but something about the situation made her feel a touch of sympathy for the poor girl.
“That’s what you get for being a chauvinistic pig.” She stated matter-of-factly. Will wanted to argue, but knew deep down that she was right.
“Please. I don’t want to be a girl.”
“Why not, you look so cute,” Zoe said admiring the cute outfit and attempt at makeup. “They guy’s would be dropping at your feet”
“I already have a guy” Will spat turning to Zoe. A small giggle left her mouth but the look on Will’s face told her not to push it.
“Look, I’ll speak to Jess. She has the Chronivac with her, but I don’t know if she’ll turn you back. A few hours isn’t really that much punishment.”
“That much punishment? I’ve been felt up, had to dress myself, had guys staring at me checking me out, my boyfriend probably wants to sleep with me, and I’ve masturbated to the thoughts of guys!” Will suddenly realized what she had said and turned bright red. Zoe now couldn’t contain her laughter and burst into hysterics, and Will couldn’t blame her. It took her a minute to calm down as she looked the new girl over once again.
Leaning forward she whispered in her ear “How was it?” Which only made Will turn even redder.
Slowly she murmured her reply. “It was great.” The admission of that one simple fact was itself a resounding victory for Zoe and she grabbed Will’s arm and pulled her up onto her feet.
“Come on” She began as she dragged Will back to the party. Let’s see if Jess is feeling benevolent.
