Sei reached out and picked up the Knight figurine. "This is awesome! Look at the detail on the armor! And I think it has jewels on it - the eyes look like rubies!"
"The horse looks good too." Mike picked up the animal figure and turned it upside down, then grinned. "Definitely a stallion - somebody must have looked at a lot of horse cocks!" He looked over at the Knight. "Looks like a set - the knight's legs are spread apart to fit in the saddle."
He placed the horse on the floor and held it steady while Sei placed the Knight on it. As he two figures touched, there was a brilliant flash of light...
Sei woke looking up at a bright sunny sky. That was weird, since it had been raining outside, and he'd been inside an old house. He sat up, feeling rather odd. Damn! What was he wearing? Blinking, he looked down and saw polished black metal everywhere. God! A robot! Then he realized that he was still very human underneath, although it felt like there was more of him than before. The knight! He'd become the knight
Standing up wasn't easy in the heavy armor, but he seemed to be stronger than before. Clanking over to a small pool, he looked at his reflection and got a shock. The face looking back at him was that of a blond man in his late twenties, not a teenage Asian. His eyes were ice blue and the face had a cold, hard look to it. He didn't like it.
As he was staring at himself, a loud whinny drew his attention back behind where he'd woken up. A massive black warhorse was pawing the ground and shaking its head, looking more than a little upset. Remembering the other figurine, Sei stood up and gaped at the huge stallion. "Mike?"
The horse stopped and stared at him, then very clearly nodded its head.
