Cursed College

added 11 years ago O

Fortunately for Vincent, none of his classmates in highschool were even slightly gay; thank you small town schools with taboos on such
thoughts. But college was a different story.

Vince walked into the admissions office of his chosen college to get his class itinerary and room information. He was asked to fill out a
questionare to find him a compatible roommate. When he came to the question: "Do you care if your roommate has the same sexual
preferences as you?" he marked "No" without even thinking about it.

On paper, at least, his roommate turned out to be straight. In reality, his roommate was a closeted kid from a anti-gay household trying
to make himself straight. Apparently, this college liked to screw its students without even knowing it.

Vince entered his room a week before classes in order to unpack and get settled. It was a double room with two beds, desks, chairs,
and dressers, and one shared bathroom. Vince and his father lofted his bed on top of his desk to make more room, unpacked his stuff,
and left to say goodbye to his family until Christmas break.

When he got back, he found the door propped open and heard two voices inside. He peeked in to see his new roommate being
lectured by his father. He decided to wait in the hall until the older man left. Once the father was done talking, he left without even
seeing his son's new roommate. Vince walked in and found his roommate putting his things away.

"Need some help?" he asked.

"Oh, hey, are you my new roomie?"

"Looks like it."

The two began to talk while putting his supplies in his desk. Vince learned that his name was Travis MacAnay and that he was here for
a liberal arts degree as well. Travis was slightly chubby, but in a cute way, and his face looked like a kid's. He wasn't any kind of
athlete, but he did skate a little. His father had just gone through the "If You Do Anything But Study We're Cutting You Off" speech
made by any parent who doesn't expect much from their kid. Vince tried to cheer him up by telling Travis he was lucky his dad was
home.

"I wish my dad was never home," he confided. "I guess I might as well tell you that I've been a little confused lately as far as, well you
know," he made a hand gesture suggesting sex. "I'm sure it's nothing, but if my dad even knew I'd said that he'd kick me out of the
house."

"Tough break," Vince sympathized. "Well, if you do decide you swing for the other team (or both), you're secret's safe with me. I don't
care what you want in bed as long as it's not me."

"Thanks, man."
