Now Mesmermo the Dwarf Hypmotist With the Magnetic Eyes had been back there when
the Dragon had stolen the snacks.
Mesmero was two feet tall,and here was was watching this huge magnificent monster reptile with wings,
muscles of iron,limbs as big around as tree trunks,guiltily steal carny snacks.
Mesmero had quietly followed the confused new magnificent King of the Bestiary
shuffle off to hide itself.
So he'd watched as the beast came into the forest,where the Dragon had been surrounded
by a pack of three and thirty snarling 10 foot tall hyena-werewolves surrounded the dragon,and advanced on it.
Charrl'n/Sssarl'n had cowered,quite uncertain what to do,all those appendages
of his so much deadweight.
So Mesmero had watched the pack of slobbering nasties rush in for the kill.
Alas one of them must have growled out "The Word" or perhaps gave
"The Finger"
because suddenly the dragons eyes had opened wide,and the Dragon had come to life.
It was a flash of furry and flames and tail spikes and roars
and at the end all that remained of the menacing pack of hyena-werewolves
was that tuft of bloody fur in the tree branch.
