Now Carlen only could vaguely recall what it was like to have been the Dragon.
Just like Sssarl'n could only vaguely recall what it had been like to be the Human,
the Human had problems recalling life as the Dragon.
However the big paw prints in the forest soil with the 2 foot long digits with
sharp claw impressions in the soft dirt told Carlen he had been a dragon.A very big dragon.
Carlen backtracked the trail of reptillian footprints till he came
apon the tuff of bloody fur handing 15 feet above the ground,caught on a branch.
Carlen had just KNOWN when to stop and look up,and it occurred to him that as the Dragon that bit of fur
had been at his ( the Dragons) head height.
Carlen felt sick to the stomach as he realized that as the Dragon everything around him
was just a dragon-snack.
Carlen began to hope the Dragon wouldn't return...
