It wasn't long before Gristhinelda's mother and her other relatives had been summoned
to the Securuty Office.
When mother discovered that her daughters pointy hat,wand and broom had been stolen
she made good on her threat and began casting her spells and hurling
transformation curses at me to turn me into a cockroach.
Bad for her,good for me was the fact the Security Office had a dampening spell
that made her curses fall to the floor as dust.
Officer Molly Malone,the pink dragoness,had been only giving the screamfest a side glance.
She'd been looking at the security video,which showed Clarissa running along when suddenly
a big black dragon came winging in from the air and plopped down in front of her.
Dimly she saw the exchange of the witch's goods for the bag of candy,she was however
all eyes to the sight of the black dragon,her stepbrother Spike Mallone,a
noted criminal,the black dragon in the Mallone family and with a sweet tooth
for human children.
Clarissa had been wise to hand over the pointy hat,the wand and the broom.
As the video tape ran to a end the pink dragoness noted that Gristhinelda's mother was threatening death and damnation
to me the second I stepped outside the Fair's borders.
Then she grabbed her daughter by the shoulder and hustled her out before the werewolves
removed her forcibly.
So there I sat in the Security Office with Clarissa.On the security video screens
we could see a miserable looking Gristhinelda outside the Fair gates,and about her whizzed her witch and warlock
relatives,all weaving a curse to punish me if I stebbed one inch outside the gate.
If I left the grounds,I was a dead man.
Officer Molly Malone stared at me then glanced at Clarissa.We both were thinking
the same thing,my sister couldn't go home by herself.
So the pink dragoness asked the nice werewolf nearest her
"Lupus,do you think you could carry the human girl to her parents house safely
with our guests noticing.?"
Lupus said he could,and so Clarissa got on the big friendly werewolf's back,he
growled at her to hang on,and set off in a loping run out the back door with my squealing sister saying
" Faster Mr Lupus,faster"
