Rene smiled looking thoughtfully from the bottle to his prisoner "I wonder if this is your secret. Just have to analyze it."
He walked over to the other corner of the garage, and opened up what looked like a large storage locker to reveal shelves and another workbench covered with electronic equipment and glass bottles like Dan had seen in the lab earlier.
"And you thought I was just a cute skater dude, didn't you?" Rene winked and turned on some equipment in his makeshift lab. The whirr of small fans cooling appliances filled the garage. Rene bent over the bottle with an eye dropper, and prepared a pipet bulb for his spectrum analyzer, as well as several tiny test tubes with the precious liquid. Rene reached out of view and lifted down a cage filled with several white mice. Rene worked in silence except for periodic inane tuneless bouts of whistling. It seemed like forever to Dan as he stood there naked helpless flat with his penis laying on the cold concrete garage floor like a stretched out piece of chewing gum. A cockroach skittering across the floor discovered it and decided to investigate crawling gingerly up the stringy apendage toward Dan's navel. The large insect's sticky feet were driving Dan crazy. It reached his pubic hairs wiggled its feelers and flew away. Inwardly, Dan sighed in relief.
Then the ants came. First, a scout crawled up his warm pink penis head, tasting with its antennae. It walked back and forth, then about 7 inches up the fleshy suspension bridge connecting Dan's crotch to the floor. It left for about 15 minutes, but returned with additional ants, and soon the bridge was swaying gently under the march of the ants.
"Voila!" Rene shouted bouncing a furry white superball off the garage floor. He beamed at Dan, and said, "You must not have gotten a big enough dose, Daniel Flatt, or you'd be bouncy too. Now, I'm going to give you back the ability to speak, but you have to promise to tell me where you got this wonderful elixir. If I can get more, I may be able to permanently cure you of your condition. If not, I bet you'd make a cool shower mat or rug. Whaddya think?"
Rene carried Dan over to his father's workbench and used a vise to press Dan's lower extremities between to pieces of plywood. Dan was relieved that the ants were no longer moving on him, but he could feel their tiny bodies impressed in his flesh. Perhaps entombed alive, if the board didn't kill them. Rene then went back into his lab, and returned with a long black device with a shiny metal tip and short black extension cord. He plugged it into the bench's socket. The said, "It's a Tesla Coil," he flicked it on and an electric spark jumped from the tip arcing like a little lightning bolt to Dan's flat nipple. Suddenly, Dan could breathe. He gasped for air like a drowning man.
"Wha--? Hel--!" Dan started to yell, but Rene's hand silenced him, covering his mouth. Dan's forearms and hands were helpless along with his legs pinned between the two plywood boards.
"Now, Dan, no screaming for help, and no struggling. You can't runaway, and you won't be going anywhere until I'm done with you. So, how about you calmly tell me the whole story." Rene pulled up a stool, and got ready to take notes in a black and white marbled lab note book.
Dan didn't scream. He took a deep breath and cocked his head to look at the young man who had figured away to make him 3D again at least partially and temporarily. Perhaps Rene was his only hope from ending up as an odditity in the university's laboratories, or a shower mat for the kid who might be his savior.
Dan quietly explained about the clinic about Matt and the chemical Dan stole. Rene didn't say anything, he just stared intently writing in his journal. When he was done speaking, Rene just continued to reread his notes and look analytically at Dan as if were a lab rat.
Finally, Dan cleared his throat, and asked, "So, Renny, do you think you can help me?"
Rene grinned, and then said, "Only if you do exactly what I say. Screw up and you may well spend the rest of your life pressed flat. Do you agree?" Dan hesitated.
"Oh, and if you think that you're somehow permanently cured by the electric shock, allow me to prove that theory wrong." Rene pressed his arm across Dan's chest leaving a deep valley. Dan gasped for air, and wheezed, "I agree to whatever you say, just make me normal, please."
