Ashley's mother, Melanie looked at her daughter than at the changing room and was curious as to how her daughter went from elementary school to almost a mirror image of her.
"How did she do it?" Melanie said to herself, stepping inside the changing room and closing the door behind her.
She looked all over but found nothing that would explain anything to her.
"I can't believe she said that to me-ME, her own mother!" Melanie grumbled to herself as she changed to her dark blue one-piece bathing suit.
"Of course she practically grew up in the city, I was raised almost near the beach, Oh how I'd love to be that little girl I was back then and be able to swim out to the ocean and build sandcastles."
Melanie only took a few minutes to get changed and looked herself over in the full body mirror to see the woman who longed for days long past. She reached for the doorknob and got a shock threw her body, then opened the door again with ease.
Stepping out of the changing room, she saw her daughter Ashley who was unexpectedly taller than before.
"Well if it isn't my favorite "little" mother." Ashley said mockingly. Melanie looked down to see she was a child again, who was probably just as old as Ashley had been not long ago.
"So 'mom' what do you have to say about the new you?" Ashley asked.
Melanie looked and saw some kids playing in the sand.
"I'm gonna go build a sandcastle and you can't join me." Melanie said as she stuck her tongue out at Ashley and quickly ran to build a sandcastle.
