The next morning, Hugh told me that meet up with him at a club, called The Club of Divine Beings. It was quite the expensive, fancy club that I
had heard it to be, as Hugh and I got right in.
I said to him, “That was strange. We just got right in. Do you know someone here?”
Hugh said, “Yes, I’m VIP. I own good amount of shares in this place, which was how I bought the beach house.”
He asked, “How’s this place?”
I replied, “It’s good.”
He said, “I agree. Here there is great music, great beer selection, and lots of fine women to look at. I’m sure you’ll be having a wonderful
time.”
He then said, “See that pretty blonde gal with the tan skin? Dancing in the white suit, with that sparkly, bubbly ass of hers? How sweet that is,
that she’ll be loved by you!”
I laugh and say, “I’m up for it!”
The music is loud, so it’s hard to her, but I see her approaching me, as she’s batting eyes and is about to, I mean, is now flirting with me.
She introduced her name to me, “Hey. Name’s Brittany. Brittany Estherhoff. What’s yours?”
I yell, “Josh Regence. You look hot!”
Brittany yelled back happily, “I am! Let’s go somewhere to dance together!”
I then yell, “And then we’ll commence this by fucking!”
Brittany yells, “I love your sense of humor, dude!”
Meanwhile, Hugh is walking around in the upper balcony somewhere, as he waves to me, before walking out. But just before he walks out, he
makes a strange signal to someone that is nowhere near in my direction.
Then, someone tapped me from behind.
He said, “Josh, we need to go. It’s not safe here.”
I turn around and reply, “Why? We’re here to have a good time!”
Nathan replies, “You should come with me right now.”
I reply to Brittany, "Well, Brittany, it's been fun."
I write down my number. She gives me a number back as she writes it down.
We say to each other, "Call me?"
