Tom sat there on the shelf. After all, that was all he could do. He could still see, though a tad blury because of his eyes being plastic and not really focusing. The only other sense he had was hearing. Right then, a bell was heard in the front of the store. Somebody had just come in. Then Tom heard a voice he knew really well say "Excuse me, sir?" It was his dad, talking to what probably was a clerk.
"Yes?" the clerk replied.
"Have you seen a boy come in here? I think our son wanted to buy something here and he snuck away." said his dad asked.
"Nope, but you can look around if you want for him." said the clerk said.
"Oh, I hope they come over to the stuffed animals and see me." thought Tom.
His parents wandered the store untill they came to were there son sat, unmoving. "Maybe we could by something for him here" his mom asked his dad.
"Well, alright, but I shouldn't because he snuck away." his dad mumbled.
"Hey, what about that fox stuffed animal?" his mom asked, pointing at Tom. "It looks bigger than the others. I bet Tom would love this."
His dad nodded, and went and picked up Tom with stong hands. His dad and mom then went to the front of the store to purchase Tom as a toy. The clerk rang Tom and said "$35, please." Tom's dad pulled out a Visa and handed it to the clerk. After paying, Tom's parents left to keep looking for Tom, not knowing they had already found him.
"Guide us oh, thou great Jehova!"
