Just days later and the new arrivals were gathered around the dinner table. The two girls were called Helen
and Michelle, while the boys (or former boys, given their castration) were Michael and Dan. They had been
rushed across to the Arab state early in their transformation and were not yet fully pigs, more resembling
humans with extensive pig features. They could still walk on two feet though, and eat with their hands, and so
for now considered themselves human.
But the Sheiq's staff did not consider them as such. They would be full pigs soon, and they were being made to
understand this. It would be their last meal at the dinner table before they had to eat out of the troughs -
like the fully transformed pigs - and the Sheiq's people had a special surprise for the occasion.
"What do you think we'll be having today? I'm so hungry!" Helen said, putting her feet up on the edge of her
chair.
"I don't know how you can think about food," Dan said. "We're being fattened up to be eaten! Does that not
scare you?"
"Oh, no we're not," Michelle replied. "They could never eat us. The staff are so nice, they'll soon realise
that they could never do it."
Just as Michelle finished her sentence, the staff emerged carrying a huge platter.
On top was Cady, a juicy golden brown, skin crackled and steaming. A dull contented look was worn on the pig's
face, an apple jammed in the snout.
"Oh really?" Michael said. "They could never eat us, huh?"
The huge roast was set down on the table. "This is a preview of things to come," one of the staff said. "Enjoy
your feast."
If they didn't already know it, their fate was more certain now.
