Nate thought about his choices long and hard through the last couple class periods and during his walk to Kathryn's house and he had decided there was only one real choice.
He walked up the steps of her front porch and was about to knock when the door opened, revealing Kathryn in the doorway.
"Come in Nate, I trust you have made your choice," she said.
"Yes, I have. Can you turn me into a werewolf? With sharp claws and large fangs?" asked Nate.
"I had a feeling that would be your choice. And of course, I can. Are you sure that's your choice?" asked Kathryn.
"Yes, I'm sure," replied Nate.
"From this day forth, you will feel the call of the night and the pull of the moon compel you to take up your wolfish, beastly visage. Your inner beast will hunger for the blood of your tormentors. Go forth, my young friend, and have your vengeance," said Kathryn, with a deep, rhythmic intonation.
"That's it?" asked Nate, feeling a bit underwhelmed.
"That's it. What's the matter? Doubting you'll change?" asked Kathryn.
"Actually, yeah, I am," replied Nate.
"Very well," replied Kathryn. "Let me show you."
Kathryn walked over to Nate and ripped open his white button down shirt. He felt a tingling sensation as he saw his chest tighten and his pudginess disappear, replaced by rock hard pecs and abs. She continued down his arms, as he felt his biceps grow as well. She went over the areas again and he saw brown hairs start to grow out. He felt the tingling radiate throughout his body.
"This is incredible!" cried out Nate. He looked at his hands and saw the same hairs were growing there. He watched as they grew into a thick fur and his nails grew out into long claws. He could feel the same fur growing in over his whole body. His shoes started to split apart and his feet grew and transformed as well. He pants grew tight as well as his legs grew and re-formed. Kathryn reached up and rubbed his ears to rounded points. He felt his teeth grow out into fangs. Kathryn rubbed her fingers across his face and he could feel the same fur grow in and travel down his neck, blending with the rest of the fur.
"Snout or no snout?" she asked.
"Will it hurt?" asked Nate, in a deep growl.
"A bit. And you won't be able to talk any more," replied Kathryn.
"Nah, I want to be able to tell them who I am, see what I've become," growled Nate.
"I like that...toy with them," replied Kathryn. She pointed to a mirror on the wall. "Check yourself out."
Nate walked over to the mirror, in excited awe of his new form. His skin had turned darker and he looked like a fierce wolf man, with sharp fang jutting from his mouth, a lupine nose, pointed ears, strong musculature and sharp, inch long claws on his fingers.
"I look amazing. I can't wait until they see me!" exclaimed Nate.
"The sun is setting...here's your chance. Happy hunting!" replied Kathryn, leading Nate to the back door of her house.
Nate ran out into the night, ready to find his long standing tormentors and dish out some payback.
