Transform or Dare?

Enter Melissa

“Hey, wake up.” Said a sweet, female voice. “Are you all right?”

Jenny awoke to see the face of a cute girl, around her age. Long, sky blue hair flowed freely around her head.

Jenny propped herself up with her arms, and then paused briefly at the sight of the girl’s flawless B-and-a-half cup breasts before catching the shape of a fin out of the corner of her eye. She followed a long tail covered in blue scales of a chromatic sheen originating from her waist, flanked by pelvic fins, down to the broad, translucent fluke at the end.

Jenny’s view then turned to another tail, this one, with pink chromatic scales which she followed up to her own waist. “That son of a bitch was serious!” Jenny thought.

“I haven’t seen you around here before.” The blue mermaid said.

Jenny ignored her and swam as fast as she could to the surface. Before she realized how fast she was swimming, she found herself breaching, her entire body flying out of the water. She yelped in surprise as she fell, and belly flopped onto the water surface. She groaned in reaction to the sting of it.

Jenny then looked up at the moon; as she feared, it was full. Her first transformation into a mermaid, and she’s stuck that way for three nights.

The other mermaid’s head popped out of the water. “Judging by that display, I’d say you’re new to being a mermaid.” She said to Jenny. “I’m Melissa, and if you’d like, I could give you some pointers on being a mermaid.”

She seemed like a nice girl and she’s quite attractive at the very least. “Well, I’m going to be stuck like this for the next three days, and a lot can happen to a person out at sea in that time. Why not? By the way, my name is Jennifer, but my friends call me Jenny.”

Melissa smiled. “Nice to meet you, Jennifer. Now first, let’s grab a bite to eat.”

Melissa spent the night teaching Jenny about taking care of herself as a mermaid, about her mermaid powers, particularly her powerful mermaid voice.

The next day was spent exploring the ocean. Melissa took Jenny around the coral reefs and out into the open sea. Jenny marveled at the sights of the ocean, and by the second night, she and Melissa were good friends.

At the second dawn, the two of them were laying on the beach of a small islet.

“Two nights down, one to go.” Jenny said in a hopeful tone.

“Jenny, Is it so bad being a mermaid?” Melissa asked.

The tide rolled over their tails and Jenny curled hers up and looked at it. “Well, it’s not terrible.” She said. “I mean; I doubt I would have fared as well without your help. I’m lucky to have met someone like you.”

Melissa smiled. “Aw, thank you.”

“I don’t know,” Jenny said, “it has been fun, and my… enchantment for lack of a better term does make it so my friends and family don’t notice when I’m gone. I guess I could learn to enjoy it more.” Jenny clasped Melissa’s hand. “Especially with such a dear friend to enjoy it with.”

“Jenny,” Melissa said, “I’m going to let you in on a little secret…”
