Sara, Samantha, Emily, Sandra and Tracy had been in the mall for over four hours, looking at all the things
they would have bought if they had the money. Sadly, it was just over half way through the semester and
between textbooks and eating out because of how terrible the cafeteria food was they had very little spending
money left and most of what they had ended up going to the essentials, even though they all wore feminized
Jedi and (in Tracy's case) Sith Costumes year round.
Emily was the tallest of the group at seven feet even, she was one of the richest in the group because her Mom
had left her a lot of money but that was before she had started college this year. She had long dark brown and
dark yellow almost golden eyes that gave her an almost Sith-like look. Every year one of her friends would
tease her nicknaming her Lady Vader a nickname she liked because her costume was an feminized version of the
Anakin Skywalker outfit complete with Lightsaber.
Sara was the shortest of group at four feet six inches. She was nicknamed Yoda because of her judgment of
others and "wisdom" was equal to that of Yoda himself.
Sandra was the third tallest of the group at five feet eight inches. She was nicknamed Obi-Wan Kenobi because
her height was same as Obi-Wan was in the movies.
Samantha was the second tallest of the group at six feet three inches. She was nicknamed Qui-Gon Jinn because
her height was the same Qui-Gon was in the Phantom Menace Movie.
Tracy was the Battlemaster of the group, with such skill with her Lightsaber she could beat the other four in
a battle one handed. Her costume was the feminized version of Darth Sidious
It was Samantha who had kept them at the mall for so long. she was now ready to call it a day though, but not
without stopping in one last shop first.
The little store, 'Spells-R-Us' had caught her eye. Despite having covered every inch of the mall it had
caught her eye and it took very little effort for her to convince her three friends to make the strange shop
their last stop before heading back to the dorms.
The place looked like a cross between an antique store and someone's attic with its strange selection of
products.
The only employee there, a little old man, was quietly dusting the more expensive items on shelves behind the
counter, taking great care to polish the scales of an enormous dragon statue.
There were several racks of clothing, ranging from battered looking military uniforms from numerous different
countries to fancy gowns.
Against one wall was a huge display of crystals and wooden carvings of animals while on the opposite wall hung
a number of paintings, landscapes, portraits and abstract works in all different styles and levels of skill
were all on display.
Closer to the counter was a large bin containing a jumble of junk that bore a battered sign reading 'SALE -
All Items $10 & Under'. This bin caught her eye and so while Sara, Emily and Tracy looked at a pair of bras
that looked like they were made out of a pair of seashells and Sandra browsed through a shelf of very old Star
Wars books, she went over to look through the bin.
Most of it was junk, broken statues, clothing with pulled seams and a good deal of who knew what, she did find
one thing that looked worth getting. It was a board game, still wrapped in shrink wrap. What really caught her
attention was its price, a single dollar twenty-five. The game was called 'A Game of Change', something she
had never heard of, but the back of the box promised hours of wild, exciting fun for anywhere from two to
twelve players, with variant rules for solitary play and how to play with teams for when you wanted to play
with more than twelve players.
"Hey guys," she called out, holding the game up for them all to see, "I just found how we'll spend the rest of
the day."
"A Board game?" Tracy giggled.
Sandra caught sight of the price, "Well, even if it's totally lame it's got to be at least a dollar's worth
the fun."
Emily was quick to agree, "And if we all chip in it'll only be a quarter each. Less than a pack of Root Beer."
All in agreement they searched their pockets and bought the game.
The little old man wished them a good day and added that he hoped they enjoyed the game, mentioning that it
was one of his favorites.
Curious to see what they had gotten, they went back to the dorms to begin the game.
