(disclaimer: pre-filled option title. I know the difference between "your" and "you're")
You sit back in your desk chair, wondering about this mystery program. Who sent it to you? How did they get your name? And why in the world did you pop it into your precious computer?! Hello! Viruses!!
Sighing, you entwine your hands behind your neck, staring at the screen for a few seconds. You quickly scroll through a few computer stats and options, checking on how the system is running and can't seem to find anything fishy (or phishy), so you decided to just go with it from here.
Pulling up the program window again, you are greeted with a question prompt:
"What do you wish to change today?"
You lean back again, tapping your fingers against your lips as you think. Choosing to pretend a computer program has the power to change reality, you wonder how big your should go with your ideas.
Yourself?
Your friends? Family? People around you? People across the world from you?
Things! Objects, possessions, your apartment, job, car... that could be fun...
Or how about your entire life?
Could this program only affect things in it immediate vicinity or would there be an entire butterfly effect to every change made? Would requesting you'd been born a boy change the entire way your grew up, your family, where you were now and possibly mean you'd never received the program making the change permanent?!
Worriedly, you pull back your deep thoughts and decide to test something very small, hopefully having no effect beyond the immediate one desired.
Typing your response and carefully editing, you read and reread for a full minute before pressing ENTER.
