Thinking as fast has he can, Derek reaches over to where Jake discarded the special socks that gave him those hot, freaky-huge feet. As quickly as he can, he
grabs the socks and stuffs them in his pocket.
Derek stands up and checks that he's alone in the store. Once he feels comfortable, he goes to the back of the store and puts the socks in the drawer where the
other socks used for prople to try on shoes are.
Derek then goes out front to wait for his first subject/ mark. Just a little while later, a really hot, college age jock comes in. He walks up to the counter and says,
"Heyl, Man, I need to get some new soccer cleats. Practice starts tomorrow and my old shoes are shot."
"Sure, no problem." Derek says. He walks around the counter to lead the jock to the athletic foot wear section. As he comes around the corner of the counter, he
sees that the jock is wearing an A&F t-shirt, torn jeans and flip flops. This is too perfect, Derek thinks.
"Sit over here, Dude." Derek says, directing the jock to a chair in the athletic shoe section. "Have you chosen the style you want to try?"
"Yeah, these." the jock says, indicating a standard pair of black soccer shoe.
"Ok, I'll go get a pair. What size do you want me to get?"
"I normally take a size 10 1/2." the jock says.
"No problem. I'll go get a couple of pair for you to try and some socks also. Just slip off those flip flops and I'll be back in a sec."
Derek quickly moves to the back of the store and enters the stock room. He gets two pair of the shoes that the jock wanted, one in size 10 1/2 and the other the
biggest they have in stock: size 18. He also grabs the socks from the hiding place he had put them.
Comeing back into the main part of the store, Derek sets the shoe boxes on the groudn and kneels in front of the now barefoot jock.
Handing him the socks, Derek says, "Ok. Slip these on so you can try on the shoes. Store policy says you can't try on shoes if you're barefoot."
"Ok, Dude, whatevere." the jock says. He takes the socks from Derek's hand and unfolds them. Then he pulls one onto his right foot and the other onto his left
foot.
Derek unboxes the shoes, stalling for time. As he watches....
