The next day, Amy called Lina on the phone, telling her to come to their personal swimming hole so they can
hang out together.
Since they were little, Amy and Lina once in a while hung out at a small but very deep swimming hole that no
one knew about. It was always fun for the two to hang out and unwind, and the best part was they had it all to
themselves.
Amy waited for Lina in her bikini with the box of pearls at her side at the swimming hole for a little while
until her friend arrived.
“Hey Amy,” Lina said, “Ready for a swim?”
“I’m ready,” Amy said, “but can you hold off for a second? There’s something I need to show you.”
“Show me?” Lina asked, “What is it?”
As Lina said that, Amy quickly took off her swimsuit, and was standing naked in front of Lina.
“What the?!” Amy said, blushing a little, “Are you planning on going skinny dipping or something?”
“Nope,” Amy said, “Just watch.” With that she jumped into the water, and stayed under as she willed herself to
change. The changes and sensations were quick. Amy’s gills quickly appeared so she could breath, bright blue
scales formed all over her body, her nose shrunk into her face while her belly button and nipples and butt
crack disapeared under the scales, her ears became fin-like, her nails disappeared as webbing grew between her
fingers, her hair grew longer and turned blue, her breast grew to D-cups, her legs fused into her tail and
grew longer as her feet turned into her fin, more fins grew from her waist and her forearms, and her eyes
become complete deep azure. With her transformation complete, Amy did a backflip underwater in enjoyment of
her form, and quickly rose up to the surface to a surprised Lina.
“Holy crap!” Lina cried, “What are you?”
“Isn’t it obvious?” Amy replied, “I’m a mermaid now.”
“But, I thought those were… but how did… were you always…” Lina kept stuttering, and soon after taking another
good look at her, “you look amazing.”
“You really think so?” Amy asked.
“Of course,” Lina said, “I mean, how did this happen to you?”
It was then that Amy took the time to explain everything to Lina about the pearls, her transformations, and
the knowledge that came with it after her final transformation finished, including the different types of
mermaids there were. After finishing the conversation, Lina took some time to let the information sink in.
Lina was amazed at the fact that her best friend turned herself into a mermaid, and that so many of them have
existed for so long. After a little while, Lina looked at her fishy friend.
“Amy,” Lina said, “Did you call me here to ask me to be a mermaid?”
“Well,” Amy said, blushing under her scales. “You could say that. Do you?”
