The trees surrounded you now as Angel lead you deeper into the forest. The light of the sky faded into a full shadow, like a light blackened veil had fallen over your eyes. You wondered what the forest looked like at night. The ground began to get uneven as logs, twigs, vines, and other green things littered the footing zone, making it uneasy to travel. You began to notice you were lagging further and further behind before Angel finally disappeared from your sight.
It had become dark. You could not see anything from where you stood. Not even could you see your own hands or the rest of your body for that matter. You called for Angel's name but nothing returned your call. Not one single message save for the distant howl of a wolf. The howl instantly reminded you of the Werewolf you and Sarah left trapped inside her Grandmother's house. You laughed at the possibility of it being the same wolf, but you knew that this forest contained magical creatures, as Angel had stated. You began to wonder if this was either good or bad.
You decided standing where you had shouted was not the best of ideas, you walked forward in the direction you believed Angel was heading. When suddenly, your foot was snagged on something and as your body became completely horizontal, your face hit something hard. You could only guess that it was the ground. Another howl was made in the forest and it seemed closer now. You got up as you felt your leg burn and something liquid trickle down your leg. You were injured. More pains followed in your arm and ankle and you tried to stand but your head felt woozy. You puked briefly and layed yourself by what you thought was a tree. From what you could feel, your right arm and left leg was broken from the fall on the uneven ground and that you had sustained a head injury.
You yelled again for help but the only thing that answered was the wolf. And from it's third howl.. it was definitely closer.
