Rick Discovers He's A Nerd and Instead Wishes That He Was....

added 20 years ago O

Rick was nearly dry when he reached his house. His car parked haphazardly in the driveway extending on to the lawn. Rick never did that. At least not since his father took him to the woodshed when he did it when he was 16. He sure didn't want his 250 pound father turning him over his knee at the age of 18. He fumbled in his pocket. His keys were missing. He went to the door, and rang the bell.

Rick was shocked when he saw himself open the door. Except this version of himself was taller and looked down on him by at least a head.

"What do you want, dweeb?" he asked.

"Who are you?" Rick asked obviously confused.

"I'm the star quarter back, and you're the stupid dork!" He bodily lifted Rick in the air and slammed him down hard in front of the hall mirror. Rick stared, the image of Kelvin Hobbs stared back. He sighed. Kelvin in the athlete's body gave his old body containing Rick the bum's rush out the door and on to the sidewalk. Then slammed the door.

Dumbfounded Rick stumbled down the street in a daze imagining himself to be delusional. He didn't notice the ring still on his finger. He hated being Kelvin, he wished he could be anything or anyone else.

Just then...
