Life as livestock was not easy, especially for a group of animals that were formerly human. They were accustomed
to the pampered life style of middle class society, with warm homes and comfortable beds. Turkeys, as it proved,
were afforded no such treatments.
Becky was herded into a small pen, along with a group of her fellow turkeys, inside a much larger warehouse. The
sound of the birds "gobbling" away was almost deafening. Becky quickly fluttered around in a panic, powering her
large wings to the best of her ability, but could only bound against the wire-mesh fence that would keep the
birds in place.
"Struggle all you want", a farmhand quipped. "There's no two ways about how things are going to be."
Once Becky settled down, she tried to get herself accustomed to her new form. She was a five-foot odd girl, with
thick blonde hair and an athletic frame. She couldn't believe what she had become; a large, fat bird. She looked
at the other turkeys and saw them as nothing more, turkeys, unable to comprehend that she herself was one of
them.
Life was dull and mostly revolved around feeding. The birds were given high-energy feed designed to build their
weight. It wasn't for a few weeks that a change to the routine was implemented.
