Cal had finally made it to Epitropolis. In fact, he was in the parking lot for Joseph Johnson's company. All he had to do was deliver the radonite and be on his way. Thank goodness there were some clothes in the car, walking into Josephcorp in a prison jumpsuit wouldn't go over too well. Cal was walking in the front door with the Radonite under his arm. Everything looked fine. Mercy was there (and probably the only character who kept her name from the comics), there was a big package on the desk, Gabe was talking to Mercy... OK, things didn't look so fine.
"Gabe? What the hell are you doing here?" Cal asked.
"Same as you. The mission remember? Deliver the-" Gabe started.
"Product. Deliver the product to Mr. Johnson. I take it you have some as well?" Mercy butted in.
"Yeah. What's in the box by the way?" Cal asked as he handed over the space rocks.
"I looked inside, and it looked like something from a dumb spy movie. Wires and plastic containers everywhere, I'll look through later." Mercy said.
"That good for nothing... what do you think Gabe, is it Logan's, Will's, or Rebeca's package?" Cal asked.
"Well, Rebeca came up with the idea last time, so it's probably hers." Gabe reasoned.
"Gentlemen, it appears to come from a Mr. Will S. Badass." Mercy said.
"Yep, that's our Will. More 'product' in there." Cal said.
"Awesome! Now all we have to do is wait for Rebeca and Logan and we'll be done." Gabe said. Just then, a pair of boobs came into the room. Oh, and Hypergirl was attached to them, but neither Cal nor Gabe noticed that part.
"What is Johnson doing with Circuit? We caught her smuggling radonite into Epitropolis, and we want to know if your boss is behind it." The cleavage window with person attached said.
"Mr. Johnson? He would never do anything like that. Now, run along. I'm sure there's a cat in a tree you can go save somewhere." Mercy said. Hypergirl muttered something, but still left.
"That was easier than I expected it to be. Good thing they sent the airhead huh?" Mercy said.
"Yeah. Listen, can we get things wrapped up? If heroes are snooping around, I'd rather not get caught up in it." Cal said.
"Right, we don't want them to-" Gabe started again.
"See, that right there is why it's better for all of us if we just leave." Cal said.
"What?" Gabe asked.
"I see your point. Bye gentlemen, I hope we can arrange something again in the future." Mercy said as she pulled all the radonite behind her desk. As she did, Cal and Gabe were sent back to the room with the sprite.
