My heart raced as the bathtub filled. I was about to sprout a tail. “This is so exciting.” I said.
“That should about do it.” Serenity said as the tub reached three quarters full.
I took off my bikini bottom and slid into the tub. Almost immediately, my legs started to push together, harder than I’d ever felt them. It felt as if my legs were turning to rubber as everything defined by bone lost its shape as the skin fused and muscles shifted. My tailbone slowly pushed down the length of my merging limb as the crevice separating the two halves vanished and metallic colored scales emerged; floral lavender, as I suspected they’d be. My feet thinned and flared out into a broad fin filled in by my lengthened spine.
I sat up on the side of the tub to give Serenity a better look at it. “It’s beautiful!” I softly shouted.
“More beautiful than I imagined it would be.” Serenity said.
